I'm so thankful to THEEALMIGHTYGOD for allowing me to meet Doctor Benjamin Kahn, PA Natalia and the rest of the Wonderful Leading Edge Dermatology Workers. During COVID 19 I ended up getting injured on the Star Metro Bus In Leon County Tallahassee Florida on May, 2, 2020 by an irresponsible bus driver. On May 11, 2020 I woke up with an head and leg injury. From that time I've been going to different hospitals, doctors offices complaining of pressure, pulling and weird movements. Instead of listening to me who knows her body, they decided to deem me mentally insane. I didn't give up. I finally found some Angels like Dr. Shane Austin my PCP who listened that allowed me to be introduced to Dr. Kahn them because the last Dermatologist said there is nothing there but your mental issues. I was disappointed because I came to her about my head and not my mind. Well everyone thought it was a 5mm Cyst until Dr. Kahn opened me up. He was shocked, the assistant was shocked. I could feel the relief because I felt the tugging as he moved side to side. I said " Please Doctor Don't Give Up!!!" & He Didn't. It turned out to be an extra large looking Lipoma. After 6 years of wanting to give up, sleepless days and nights using tweezers to keep the hairs from growing inward no matter if it was 7 am, 1 pm, 6 pm or 3 am Me, My Angels Ancestors, Gods And Goddesses of The Universe Went To Work. Today is May 16, 2026 and I'm Finally Free Of The Lie poma☺️ Never Give Up On Yourself No Matter What. Thank You Again Dr. Benjamin Kahn. It was my first visit to see Dr, Benjamin Kahn regarding skin lesions that I was concerned about. I was very disappointed with my appointment. The visit felt rushed, and I didn’t feel that my concerns were fully explored. Instead of asking questions to better understand what I was experiencing, it seemed like assumptions were made early on. As a patient, I believe a healthcare provider especially a PA should approach appointments with curiosity and take the time to gather context before drawing conclusions. Patients often come in having done some research and are looking for more in-depth guidance and professional insight. For example, I mentioned that I had a bald spot on my head. The initial assumption was that it might be due to aging. However, after I explained that I had recently removed braids and may have pulled hair out, the response changed to acknowledge that this could be the cause. Situations like this are exactly why asking questions and exploring possibilities first is important. Overall, I didn’t feel the level of attentiveness, curiosity, or engagement that I expect during a medical appointment. I hope future visits place more emphasis on listening, asking thoughtful questions, and providing thorough explanations so patients feel heard and supported.

11/20/2025 – Morning Appointment I’m not usually the type to leave reviews — life’s busy, and honestly, it’s just not something I do. But after this morning’s visit, I felt compelled to share. The office was spotless and welcoming, and the exam room was just as clean and well-kept. The chair I sat in was so comfortable I nearly dozed off — no joke. But unlike most doctor visits where you wait forever, the staff here were in the room and addressing my issue in under ten minutes. That alone deserves praise. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely outgoing. They made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. I normally see a different dermatologist but lost their number. Google pointed me to this office — and I’m really glad it did. I’ve officially found my new go-to dermatologist. One last thing: the doctor looks like she’s 18, but I found out she’s in her late 20s. Either she’s aging in reverse or she’s a vampire — either way, she knows her stuff. A plus!!!

Dr. Julian is really concerned about my health. She has turned down removing items that she said are better left alone. Most dermatologists get paid by what they remove. Dr. Julian only removes what is necessary and is very thorough in her inspection. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I cannot begin to describe the professional type atmosphere at leading edge dermatology…. From the front desk to the medical assistant by the name of Shania, who escorted my mother, the patient and myself into an exam room… Total PRO’s…. My mother, who is just three weeks shy of turning age 90 was the patient… So my mother uses a wheelchair due to her limitations of walking inside the exam room the medical assistant Shania gather it up a dermatological history of my mother. We did his best we can under the circumstances cause mom is dealing with an affliction of the dementia level…. But mom was fine. She was having fun, cracking a few jokes here and there as the assistant and myself prepared my mother for her official office visit by the doctor, Dr. Julian, who was magnificent, professional, thorough, informative, and gave my mother an A+ rating stating that her overall dermatological condition is extremely excellent at her age. It was a wonderful good of news that there was nothing going on as the good doctor did a magnifying light exam from head to toe truly was a great experience as I left the office. They gave me copies of some office notes so I have for my mother’s record to keep in her medical file And I grabbed four or five business cards with recommendations. If anybody does ask, do you know anyone and my answer would be of course highly recommended thank you for allowing me and my mother to see the good doctor and a very MERRY , HAPPY to everyone DURING this Holiday Season 2024.. MAY GOD BLESS THIS OFFICE and ALL there employees, medical assistants, and DOCTORS!!!

This was an amazing professional delivery of professional services with me. I called requesting an appointment without a referral. The staff were quite kind (a lost trait almost everywhere else regardless of vocation), thorough with their communication, presentation of their office staff, and their care of sorting out the paperwork and understanding the reason behind my visit to them. I was seen by Dr. Julian within the hour of my blind call to them on the phone. A detailed examination was quickly completed and a detailed treatment plan was developed and executed, before I left the examination room. Positive results were noted that same evening. The next day, greater results were noted. This was easier and faster than ordering a “Happy Meal” at the drive through window and I’m way happier than any “Happy Meal” could ever make me happy. Conclusion: Whatever your medical condition or needs are, start with these professional people and reach your expectations of being treated quickly, straightforward, thoroughly, professionally, and with great respect to you as a person and as a patient. Dr Julian was great! She was informative and very meticulous with explanation of procedures. Originally I wanted skin tags removed but I developed a rash prior to seeing her and she checked my whole body to make sure it was something that could be taken care of so I wasn’t being tortured by not being able to scratch. It’s hives, she prescribed strong antihistamines and was also able to remove all skin tags I wanted removed it was super quick and pain free. This practice did the same, HOWEVER, they put me through to their office manage, Daniel, who took the time to figure out the problem and I was given an appointment for the same day. I have Granuloma Annulare which the two other dermatologist told me was untreatable and sent me on my way. Both prescribed a cream which I went back and told them wasn't working. But again, they just sent me on my way with a "too bad for you" attitude. Dr. Julien, however, explained the difficulties but was willing to try different approaches which she explained may or may not help. On my first visit, she tried injecting a few of the lesions and froze others and suggested an oral medication. Only time will tell if any of these will work. But she was willing to try! She saw, she listened, and she explained. But overall, she was willing to try! This is something none of the other doctors were willing to do for me. She even suggested using the cream the other two had prescribed, but to wrap the affected area in Saran Wrap. The others didn't suggest that. Dr. Julien takes a different approach. She made me feel heard. She has given me a chance, which is all I wanted. Also, when I called, a real person answered the phone! Unheard of these days. I would definitely recommend this practice.
